Summer Retreat
June 21st - July 12th

Space to think... Time to write... The sea...

Limnisa organises retreats in spring and autumn for writers and others who are working on a creative project. Due to high demand and the popularity of previous summers, we are now keeping our doors open until July 12th - and maybe longer!

For full details, see 'Booking Details' below.

About Limnisa
Limnisa is a retreat in Methana, Greece, for serious writers and creatives who also value rest, play, and the restorative power of place - a summer setting that supports both focus and renewal. Expect hammocks in the garden for reading, drifting on a lilo, delicious, freshly prepared lunches. Mornings are quiet. Afternoons can be kept just for you, to get on with your creative work. Or book a session or take part in a workshop with one of our two amazing facilitators.

The main house has four standard rooms and one deluxe room. All standard rooms have sea view, abed, a desk and chair, mosquito netting, a fan and a place for your personal belongings. The deluxe room is on the ground floor and is more spacious with a sea view, a big desk, wardrobe and air conditioning. Food
Vegetarian & Local
The food we present is vegetarian, consisting largely of fresh ingredients. Usually a vegan variant or alternative can be provided. The bread comes from a traditional bakery. We do not serve industrial bread which tends to be higher in gluten. All meals are presented as a buffet with a choice of dishes. For breakfast we serve bread, marmalades, tahini, cheese, yoghurt, a fresh fruit salad and differentkinds of muesli/oats. Lunch consists of a few different salads, cheese and sometimes eggs or a bean dip. Dinner is taken three times a week in a taverna. The other nights there are dishes prepared with fresh ingredients varying from risotto, pasta to curry or an oven dish like moussaka. There are always plenty of vegetables.
